巧事离奇（趣味英语）

一个星期六下午，两名男子正打高尔夫球。可他们心气不顺，因为在他们前面打球的两名女子动作很慢，挡住了他们。
“难道她们不知道应该让我们先打过去？”头一个男子问。另一个男子摇摇头。“我去问问她们，看能不能让我们先打过去……要适可而止。”
他朝那两位女子走去，但他走近时，突然转身回来，面无人色。
“噢，天啊，”他对朋友说，“太可怕啦。你得去问她们，看能不能让我们先打过去。你知道，她们俩一个是我妻子，另一个是我情妇。”
另一个男子耸耸肩，向那两位女子走去。快到跟前时，他转身向他的朋友跑过来。他眼睛睁得大大的，说：“世界太小了！”（刘宗亚提供）
W eird　Coincidence
Two　men　were　p la y in g　g olf　on　a　Saturda y　after－noon．The y　were　g ettin g　frustrated,thou g h,because　the　two　women　who　were　p la y in g　in　front　of　them　were　q uite　slow,and　were　holdin g　u p　the　men's　g ame．
“Don't　the y　know　the y're　su pp osed　to　let　us　p la y　throu g h?”asked　the　first　man．The　other　shook　his　head．“I'm　g oin g　to　g o　ask　them　if　we　can　p la y　throu g h．．．enou g h　is　enou g h．”
He　started　walkin g　toward　the　women,but　as　he　g ot　close,he　suddenl y　turned　around　and　came　back,white　as　a　g host．
“Oh　God,”he　said　to　his　friend,“This　is　awful．You're　g oin g　to　have　to　ask　those　women　if　we　can　p la y　throu g h．You　see,one　of　them　is　m y　wife,and　the　other　is　m y　mistress．”
The　other　man　shru gg ed．He　walked　over　toward　the　women,and　j ust　as　he　was　g ettin g　close,turned　around　and　came　runnin g　back　to　his　p al．His　e y es　wide　o p en,he　said,“Small　world！”
